What the protein and creatine pack includes

The Creatine Total Pack brings together all four JustLoading creatine formats in a single order: a protein shake, an all-in-one drink, a creatine powder and three bars. All four deliver 3 g of creatine per serving and are formulated with CreaLab™.

Protein bar with creatine, choco hazelnut (3 bars)3 g creatine + protein, low in sugarsAway from home, travelling, or days with no time to blend

Why buy it as a pack instead of separately

Bought separately, the four products come to €51.90. As a pack it is €41.52, so you save €10.38, a 20% discount.

Price is not the main reason though. Creatine almost always fails for the same reason: people stop taking it. Having four different formats at home means you are not dependent on having time to make a shake. On the day you are running out the door you grab a bar, on a hot day you go for the drink with electrolytes, and on a normal day, the tub. That is the point of taking the whole range at once instead of guessing which one will suit you.

How to spread the four formats across your week

They are alternatives, they do not stack. Each of the four products provides 3 g of creatine, which is a full daily serving on its own. The usual maintenance dose is 3-5 g a day, so the idea is to pick one format each day depending on what you have ahead, not to take all four.

  • Strength training day: the protein shake with creatine after training covers both at once.
  • Long or hot session: the all-in-one drink, which adds electrolytes and magnesium to the creatine.
  • Rest day: the CreaLab™ creatine powder on its own. Creatine works by accumulation, so the days you do not train count too.
  • Busy day or out of the house: one bar and you are done.

If you are unsure which supplement to prioritise, we cover it in depth in creatine vs protein: what the difference is.

Frequently asked questions about taking creatine and protein together

What happens if I take protein and creatine together?

Nothing: you can take them in the same serving without any problem. Creatine and protein do different jobs. Creatine supports strength and power in short, intense efforts, while protein provides the material to repair muscle. Neither interferes with the other. In fact the shake in this pack already comes with both mixed in, 15.3 g of whey protein and 3 g of creatine in the same scoop.

What happens if I take creatine and protein every day?

That is exactly what you should be doing, and with creatine it is the whole point. Creatine works by saturation, so you need to take it daily to keep muscle stores topped up, rest days included. With protein it depends on what you already eat: the supplement is there to help you hit your daily target, not to replace food. What is not worth doing is stacking several creatine products on the same day thinking more is better: 3-5 g a day already covers the effect.

Which is the best protein with creatine?

The one you will actually take every day. That said, what to look for is a creatine dose of at least 3 g per serving (below that you have to double up) and whey protein if you want fast absorption after training. The one in this pack does both and adds DigeZyme® so it sits better. You can see it on its own on the whey protein with creatine page.

What protein and creatine combos are available?

There are two ways to combine them. One is the two-in-one product, a powder that already has protein and creatine mixed in, convenient but it ties you to a single way of taking it. The other is the pack, which gives you the formats separately so you choose day by day. This Creatine Total Pack is the second option: shake, powder, drink and bar. If you only want the two-in-one it is available on its own, and the rest of the options are in the creatine category.

What builds more muscle, creatine or protein?

Protein, because without enough protein there is no material to build muscle with, however much creatine you take. What creatine does is let you train harder: more reps at the same weight, better recovery between sets. That extra stimulus is what eventually translates into more muscle. So the sensible order is to cover protein first and use creatine as an accelerator, not the other way round.

How much creatine does the pack contain in total?

All four products provide 3 g of creatine per serving, so any one of them covers your whole day. The pack is designed to give you a variety of formats over several weeks, not to be taken all at once.

Is it suitable if I have never taken creatine?

Yes. No loading phase is needed: you can start straight away with the daily 3 g serving and keep it there. Since the pack includes all four formats, it is a good way to find out which one is easiest to stick with before committing to a large tub of just one.
