Tahini is a sauce made from sesame seeds, either raw or roasted. The result is quite similar to a butter.

This ingredient is not new; it has been used for thousands of years, primarily in regions of the Mediterranean and the Middle East. You can find it not only as a sauce, but also as an ingredient for desserts, soups, creams, salads, and even as a spread.

Tahini or sesame paste health benefits:

Sesame, a Key Ingredient

Thanks to its main ingredient, sesame, it becomes a product rich in fiber and calcium:

  • Thanks to its high calcium content, it helps maintain good bone health and contributes to the relief of joint pain. It also becomes a great ally for women during menopause due to its high content not only in calcium but also in phytoestrogens, which help alleviate symptoms related to the hormonal imbalances caused by menopause.
  • Thanks to its high fiber content, it has become a basic tool to prevent constipation. We recommend eating granola with Tahini for breakfast to ensure your daily fiber intake.

Our 100% Sesame Paste – Tahini, made exclusively from sesame, will allow you to enjoy this seed in a simple (and delicious) way in any recipe.
